تدور قصة المسلسل حول شخصية أم لخمس بنات تعيش على تربيتهن بمستوى اجتماعي ضئيل، لنرى حال المراهقين والشباب هذه الايام وتأثير التكنولوجيا عليهم وحب الشهرة السريع وانعكاسه على بناتها وما يترتب عليه من احداث تورط الام في قضية مقتل احد رجال الاعمال، فهل تنجح البنات الخمس في ايجاد براءة أمهن؟
وصرح محروس المصري انه سعيد بالتعاقد مع فنانة قديرة بحجم سهير رمزي في دور هو الاول بالنسبة لها على الشاشة الصغيرة وعلى العكس تماما مما قدمته طوال تاريخها فقد اشتهرت بأدوار الفتاة الجميلة الغنية اما دورها بمسلسل «ام البنات» سيكون مفاجأة لكل جمهورها.

 

من جانبها اعربت الفنانة القديرة سهير رمزي عن سعادتها بالمشاركة في بطولة المسلسل وتحدثت عن تجسيدها لشخصية تدعى «ليل» وهي ارملة تعول بناتها في حارة شعبية ومصدر دخلها الوحيد هو مطعم صغير داخل هذه الحارة.

واضافت سهير انها تأمل ان يحوز الدور والمسلسل على اعجاب المشاهدين، واشارت الى انها تقدم مجموعة من الفتيات واثقة تماما من ان مسلسل «ام البنات» سيكون خطوة لهن كبيرة في مسيرتهن الفنية.
